Grant Road Sidewalk Project Gets County Approval

Harris County Commissioners Court approved an agreement with Grant Road Public Utility District to build new sidewalks along Grant Road. The project will add safe walking paths from Quail Forest Drive to about 530 feet northwest, creating better connections for people who walk in this area. This sidewalk project matters because many neighborhoods in northwest Harris County lack safe walking infrastructure. When people can't walk safely to work, school, or stores, it limits their options and creates transportation barriers.
