Gene Green All-Inclusive Park gives East Houston neighbors 250 acres of free outdoor fun. The park is built with sustainability at its heart — recycled materials, smart lighting, and water-conscious design. Everyone is welcome, and admission is always free.
The park spans 250 acres and features activities and state-of-the-art equipment for all ages and abilities. The grounds are designed to be all-inclusive, meaning everyone — regardless of physical ability — can join in the fun. The park is free to visit every day of the week.
Plan your visit by checking the park's hours: gates are open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. Bring your own food and use the designated camp stoves or barbecue grills for cooking — open fires are not allowed. If you bring a pet, keep them leashed at all times unless you're in a designated dog park area, and always pick up after them. Leave glass bottles and containers at home. Vehicles must stay out of grass areas, trails, and sidewalks, and should be parked in designated lots — overnight parking is not permitted. If you're planning an event that involves alcohol, fireworks, or metal detectors, check with Harris County about obtaining a permit ahead of time.
