Transparency in Medicare Advantage Steering Act

H.R. 9395 is a federal bill introduced June 23, 2026, that would require Medicare Advantage insurance companies to report how each member was enrolled and how much agents or brokers were paid for that enrollment. Starting in 2028, companies would submit this information to the federal government each year. The goal is to show whether seniors are being steered into certain plans because of broker pay rather than what is best for the enrollee.
