Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) used photos, small-group talks, and a Community Listening Tour to understand what health really looks like — and feels like — in three Southwest Houston neighborhoods. They also used cameras to document conditions in their own blocks and streets. Their photos were later displayed at a Community Listening Tour, where neighbors could see the findings together and react to them. EHF ran similar projects in Baytown and Beaumont, working with Legacy Community Health across all three cities. Additional partners included ProSalud in Houston, Texas Area Health Education Center (AHEC) East and Epistelos in Baytown, and Lamar University in Beaumont.
