Episcopal Health Foundation

The Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) is a nonprofit foundation based in Houston, Texas, founded in 2013 by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas following the transfer of St. Luke's Episcopal Health System. With more than $1.2 billion in assets, EHF works to improve the health and well-being of the roughly 10 million people living across 57 Texas counties. Rather than focusing only on medical care, EHF addresses the everyday factors — like access to healthy food, safe places to exercise, and affordable health insurance — that shape people's health before they ever need a doctor. EHF does this by providing millions of dollars in grants to community partners and congregations, conducting research on health policy and systems in Texas, and engaging communities to build healthier places for everyone.
