H.E.A.R.T. Celebrates 20 Years at Annual Luncheon

H.E.A.R.T. Program held its 20th anniversary luncheon at the Wortham Center in Houston. The event honored Juan and Isela Garcia as community champions and recognized eight H.E.A.R.T. trainees with MVP awards. Mayor John Whitmire attended and shared remarks. CenterPoint Energy presented a check to support H.E.A.R.T.'s Vending Program. Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones' office delivered a proclamation. Founder Jane Borochoff and her family were also recognized.
