Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country. The Dialogue Institute gives you a friendly, low-pressure space to meet people whose traditions may be different from your own. No debate, no pressure — just good conversation and shared meals. Whether you're Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or simply curious, you're welcome here.
The Institute runs several programs. Interfaith Friendship Dinners let guests from different backgrounds share a meal and conversation. Panels of Abrahamic Traditions bring together Jewish, Christian, and Muslim scholars to discuss faith topics and take questions. Annual Peace and Dialogue Awards recognize community members who advance respect and understanding. Study trips to Turkey offer first-hand experience of different cultures and religions abroad. A Peace Garden — planned for Houston and designed around a synagogue, a church, and a mosque — will one day host educational programs open to the whole community.
