Harris County may partner with The Sanders Hand to offer free Young Billionaires Club entrepreneurship programming at Precinct 4 community centers.
Harris County Commissioners Court is considering a no-cost agreement to bring The Sanders Hand's Young Billionaires Club to Precinct 4 community centers. The Houston nonprofit, founded in 2017, runs a module-based entrepreneurship program for youth ages 12–25. Sessions cover budgeting, marketing, financial literacy, and customer service, offered in-person and virtually. The Texas Education Agency recognizes it as one of only ten career technical student organizations in Texas. Students can also compete in a business pitch contest.
If approved, Precinct 4 community centers would host free youth entrepreneurship classes from a local nonprofit. Residents near those centers could see new programming available for young people ages 12–25.
