Harris County Commissioners Court approved an agreement with Blinn College District to place Harris County Sheriff's deputies on-site at the Blinn-Waller Campus. The interlocal agreement (File 26-5842) was introduced on September 2, 2026, and passed on September 17, 2026.

Harris County will station Sheriff's deputies at the Blinn-Waller Campus. Neighbors near that campus may see a change in law enforcement presence there.
