Request by the Commissioner of Precinct 3 for approval of a resolution celebrating the Tomball High School 2026 UIL 6A Baseball Champions.

The Harris County Commissioners Court will vote on August 25, 2026 on a resolution honoring the Tomball High School Cougars baseball team. The Cougars won the 2026 UIL Class 6A Division II State Baseball Championship with a 9-1 win over Spring Branch Memorial in Round Rock, Texas, finishing the season 43-1-1. It is their second state title in three years, under head coach Doug Rush.

Harris County Commissioners Court is being asked to officially recognize a local high school sports team with a formal resolution. County resources and meeting time are used for this vote.
