Good first step: Act Legacy Community Health Pharmacy
Call or visit a Legacy pharmacy near you on Lyons Ave., California St., or High Star Dr. to transfer your prescriptions or ask about delivery and free medication counseling.
Legacy Community Health runs three pharmacies across Houston that are open to everyone — not just Legacy patients. You can fill, refill, or transfer prescriptions, get vaccinations, have medications delivered to your car, and get personalized support for conditions like diabetes, HIV, and high blood pressure.
Legacy pharmacies offer a full range of services. Fill, refill, or transfer any prescription. Get immunizations and vaccinations. Work with a pharmacist on medication therapy management for diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), and asthma or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Access HIV prevention through PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) — a once-daily pill or bimonthly injectable that greatly reduces your risk of getting HIV — and antiretroviral treatment (ART) for those already living with HIV. Receive free delivery straight to your door or to your car through curbside pickup. Most private insurance and Medicare Part D are accepted.
To get started, call or text the location nearest you to transfer your prescriptions or ask about a service. If you already use Legacy Pharmacy, download their mobile app to order refills and request curbside delivery. If you need delivery, simply text 'YES' to your preferred location's number or give them a call. You don't need to be an existing Legacy patient to use the pharmacy.

Three Houston locations: 3811 Lyons Ave. (77020), 1415 California St. (77006), and 6441 High Star Dr., Ste. 100 (77074)
Legacy Community Health also offers adult medicine, behavioral health, dental, HIV and STD screening and treatment, LGBTQ services, OB/GYN care, pediatrics, senior care, vaccinations, and vision services — all under one roof at multiple Houston locations.
Managing a chronic condition — or just keeping up with everyday prescriptions — is easier when your pharmacist is part of your care team. Legacy pharmacists offer one-on-one counseling, help you sync all your medications to one pickup date, and connect you with programs that can lower your costs. Every prescription you fill at Legacy also helps fund HIV/AIDS prevention, diabetes care, and expanded pharmacy hours for the whole community.
