The Houston Business Journal named Alexander Jewish Family Service one of 31 Houston organizations honored for outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion in 2023. The recognition spotlights the JFS Alexander Institute for Inclusion, which works to open doors for people with disabilities in workplaces, faith communities, schools, and beyond.
The JFS Alexander Institute for Inclusion is a program of Alexander Jewish Family Service. It takes a multi-track approach: direct services for individuals, education for employers and communities, arts programming, and advocacy. The Houston Business Journal's Diversity in Business Award recognizes organizations across Houston that make measurable progress on inclusion — and this year, Alexander JFS was one of only 31 organizations to earn that honor.
