"Pride Month is a time for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to celebrate, connect, and support one another. This year's events range from family-friendly afternoons to evening parties, fundraisers, sports nights, and a full downtown parade. There's something for a lot of different people and schedules."
Houston Public Media lists Pride Month events across the Houston area for June 2025. Events include the Brazoria County Pride Festival, drag bingo in Katy, an Astros Pride Night, a Galveston fundraiser benefiting HIV/AIDS care, a fashion show at Warehouse Live, and more. The month ends June 28 with the 47th Annual Houston Pride Festival & Parade, hosted by Pride Houston 365 downtown, featuring performances, vendors, community resources, and a parade starting at 7 p.m.
Pride Month started this week, which means there are plenty of upcoming events and celebrations for the Houston area’s LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
The month’s festivities culminate June 28 with the 47th annual Pride Houston Festival & Parade, hosted by Pride Houston 365. A year after a competing nonprofit held its own parade, the city is back to having one downtown event.
There also will be local Pride events later this year, in August and October.
