Megan Thee Stallion Foundation Repairs Homes of Older Houstonians

On May 2 — officially Megan Thee Stallion Day in Houston — volunteers from her Pete & Thomas Foundation teamed up with Houston Habitat for Humanity to repair 20 homes for older Houston residents, starting in South Park where Megan grew up.

Volunteers from the foundation's Hotties Helping initiative joined Houston Habitat to caulk, paint, and make critical repairs through Habitat's Aging in Place program, which helps seniors stay safely in their homes.

This is a community story to learn from. If you are a senior homeowner who needs repairs, or you want to volunteer, Houston Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place program is the place to start.

Many older homeowners cannot afford the repairs that keep their homes safe. Work like this helps seniors age in place with dignity, and shows how local volunteers can make a real difference in a neighborhood.
