Finnigan Community Center

The Finnigan Park Project is a partnership between Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis's office, the City of Houston, and HISD. It offers educational, social, and recreational opportunities for Precinct One residents. The center includes a Youth Education Town (YET), built with NFL support, giving youth a safe place to learn skills and have fun. Facilities include meeting rooms and a gymnasium. Programs cover exercise and enrichment; some require registration.

The Finnigan Park Project, a partnership between the Office of Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, the City of Houston, and HISD, was established to create educational, social, and recreational opportunities for residents. The Center offers different classes and resources for school age children and older. It boasts a Youth Education Town (YET), created with the help of the NFL, which is focused on helping youth in our community learn new skills and have a safe place to gather and have fun. The Finnigan Park Community Center provides the following facilities for use by Precinct One residents. Some of these facilities may be reserved for public use.
