American Statesmanship Park — nicknamed 'Mount Rush Hour' — is a free Harris County park where you can stand face-to-face with four giant sculpted busts of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Stephen F. Austin, and Sam Houston. Each statue stands 18 feet tall and weighs two tons. Houston artist David Adickes created and donated them to Harris County in November 2012.

Plan a weekday visit between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Park in a designated lot and bring the whole family. Keep pets on a leash, pack out your trash, and skip the glass containers. The park is small, so it's easy to take in all four busts and be on your way in under an hour. No alcohol, fireworks, or open fires are allowed without a permit.
