Scott Street runs through a heavily used part of Precinct 1. This study and early design work is a first step toward making biking safer and more connected along that corridor. Getting the planning right now sets the stage for any future construction.

If approved, Omega Engineers would be hired to: - Study how a bikeway could be marked or laid out along Scott Street - Create a preliminary design for the route from Fuqua Street to just south of Beltway 8 - The contract includes a minority- and women-owned business goal of 19.75%
