Hope Disaster Recovery is a faith-based 501(c)(3) disaster recovery organization founded in 2017 after Hurricane Harvey, serving underserved and under-resourced communities in Greater Houston and East Texas. It unites congregations, relief agencies, emergency management, and long-term recovery groups to provide relief, repair, and family-assistance services.
Offered by a United Way of Greater Houston partner, the Unmet Needs program helps with resources beyond the home structure, such as clothing, medical needs, childcare, furniture, and appliances for disaster-impacted households.
