Harris County's Human Resources & Talent department will present a review of the Aetna SilverScript Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) at the July 9, 2026 Commissioners Court meeting. The EGWP replaced CVS Caremark pharmacy benefits for Medicare-eligible retirees on February 1, 2026. Some retirees say the switch raised their out-of-pocket drug costs. The Court will discuss options to fix those concerns while keeping its promise not to increase costs for retirees.
