Harris County Commissioners Court is considering renewing an agreement with Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District to share the cost of eight Youth Service Specialists from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The school district will reimburse the county $45,469 per specialist each year, covering half of the total personnel and mileage costs for each position.
This agreement places eight Youth Service Specialists in Goose Creek CISD schools using shared county and school district funding. Residents in that district may see these workers providing services to students.
