On July 9, 2026, Harris County Commissioners Court will vote on two agreements and $50,000 payments each to homeowners associations for two affordable housing developments. HCPOA Providence Place Association, near Spring, TX, and HCPOA Orchard Place Association, in Pasadena, TX, were built using Hurricane Harvey CDBG-DR funds. Together, the two communities include 114 new homes priced from about $245,000–$275,000, with purchase help available to qualified buyers.
Harris County may send $50,000 each to two homeowners associations tied to affordable housing built with Hurricane Harvey recovery funds. Neighbors near Spring and Pasadena may see new single-family homes added to their areas.
