Harris County Commissioners Court is considering an agreement with Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 346 to build sidewalk improvements along the east side of S. Barker Cypress Boulevard, from Cypress Chase to the south side of Kingsland Boulevard. The project includes about 800 feet of new sidewalk, six to eight feet wide, in Precinct 4.
A new sidewalk segment near S. Barker Cypress Blvd could affect how people walk in that area of Precinct 4. Neighbors close to this stretch may see construction activity and a new walking path when finished.
