Harris County Precinct 4 and Texas State University will partner on a free supervised internship program for students.
Harris County Commissioners Court approved an agreement between Texas State University and Harris County Precinct 4. The deal creates an internship program that gives students supervised field experience working throughout Precinct 4. The program costs the county nothing. This agreement places Texas State University interns to work in Precinct 4. Residents may interact with or be served by these interns in county facilities or programs throughout the precinct.
