Harris County Commissioners Court is being asked to fix a mistake in a parks maintenance contract. The approved amount of $490,022 was wrong. The correct amount is $771,682, based on an updated cost-of-living calculation. The contract pays Yellowstone Landscape – Central, Inc. to mow and maintain parks in the North Zone of Precinct 2 from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. Parks in Precinct 2's North Zone are maintained under this contract. A math error lowered the approved payment amount. This vote corrects the number so the contractor can be paid the right amount for mowing and upkeep.
