The cleanup would cover about one mile, starting at New 290 and ending at the first curve heading southbound. The agreement would run from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027.
A private law office would take responsibility for picking up litter along about one mile of Katy Hockley Road near New 290 for one year. Neighbors who drive or live near that stretch may notice roadside cleanup activity.
