Harris County Commissioners Court is set to vote July 9, 2026, on a $1,615,237.80 contract with Carollo Engineers, Inc. The agreement covers design and construction services for two flood-control projects in the Goose Creek Watershed in east Harris County: channel conveyance improvements near Rollingbrook and a new Rollingbrook Stormwater Detention Basin. It also includes early engineering work for a northern project segment. The work is funded through Harris County's 2018 flood-bond program (Bond ID F-120).
This contract pays an engineering firm to design flood-control work in the Goose Creek Watershed. Neighbors near Rollingbrook or Goose Creek could see changes to drainage channels and a new detention basin in their area.
