Harris County may renew a $5.1M Cisco communications contract with Netsync Network Solutions for FY2026–2027.
Harris County Commissioners Court is considering renewing a contract with Netsync Network Solutions for Cisco communications hardware, software, networking, and labor used by Harris County General Services. The renewal would cover October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, at a cost of $5,100,000. The contract has a 24% MWBE goal, with 100% current MWBE participation.
Harris County uses this contract to keep its internal phone and network systems running. Taxpayer dollars fund it, so residents may want to know how the county spends on its own communications infrastructure.
