Harris County Commissioners Court introduced a contract award on July 29, 2026, for IT consulting services with Accenture LLP. The agreement would run from August 6, 2026 to August 5, 2027, with two one-year renewal options. The contract includes a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise goal of 13.30%. The County Judge would sign the agreement if approved.
Harris County may hire an outside IT consulting firm for up to three years. Residents whose county services rely on that technology could be affected if the contract changes how those systems are managed.
