Harris County Commissioners Court will vote on July 9, 2026 to renew contracts with two environmental firms — Honesty Environmental Services, Inc. ($318,635) and Professional Service Industries, Inc. ($328,725) — to conduct lead-based paint risk assessments in Harris County homes. The work supports Harris County Public Health's Lead Hazard Control Program, which protects families, especially children under six, from lead paint hazards in older homes.
