The Harris County Office of Management and Budget gives Commissioners Court a monthly update on unpaid federal grant money — called Accounts Receivable (AR). The county set a $100 million cap on this balance to limit financial risk from federal funding delays. This July 9, 2026 agenda item (File 26-4521) continues that monthly review.
