Harris County Public Health Services is asking the Commissioners Court to approve a new grant-funded staff position starting July 11, 2026. The position is paid for by the CDC's Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grant, a five-year federal program. No county tax dollars fund this role.
