This $5.1 million contract covers security systems, fire protection equipment, and network cabling for the period August 2026 through July 2027. Two companies will provide these services: Executive Security Integrators & Fire Protection handles most items, while Network Cabling Services covers specialized network equipment. This contract ensures our county buildings, courthouses, jails, and public facilities have working security cameras, fire alarms, access controls, and emergency systems. These systems protect employees and visitors while helping law enforcement respond quickly to incidents. The equipment monitors entrances, secures sensitive areas, and provides early warning for fires or emergencies. This renewal means existing security infrastructure gets maintained and upgraded as needed. County staff can focus on serving residents while knowing their workplaces are safe and secure. The contract includes regular maintenance, repairs, and technical support to keep systems running 24/7. While residents cannot directly access these security services, we benefit from safer county facilities when we visit for voting, court appearances, permit applications, or other government services.
