This project will create continuous pathways that connect communities safely. The new connections will help families reach recreation areas, students bike to school, and workers commute without cars. Better trail networks also boost property values and bring businesses to nearby areas. The work happens in Precinct 1, which includes parts of southeast Houston, Pasadena, and surrounding areas. Multimodal connections mean the trails work for wheelchairs, strollers, bikes, and pedestrians. This builds on Houston's growing network of bayou trails that already connect downtown to suburbs.
