Harris County Commissioners Court approved changes to a contract with Greater Houston Construction for concrete channel lining repairs along Buffalo Bayou. The Buffalo Bayou system flows through downtown Houston and many neighborhoods, making these repairs critical for community safety during heavy rains and storms.
The contract amendment shows strong commitment to minority and women-owned business participation, with 91.49% MWBE involvement far exceeding the 19.84% goal.
