Nearly 1 in 4 Harris County adults has diabetes. This free program teaches people how to manage their blood sugar, prevent serious health problems, and save money on medical costs. It helps our neighbors stay healthy and live better lives.
Residents get free diabetes classes, coaching, and support groups in their neighborhoods. People learn to manage blood sugar, plan meals, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
Residents continue to struggle with diabetes management on their own. Many may face expensive medical bills and serious health problems that could have been prevented.
