About Houston Downtown Management District
The Houston Downtown Management District enhances downtown Houston through public safety, cleaning, landscaping, marketing, and infrastructure improvements. Funded by a special assessment on commercial properties, the district works to make downtown welcoming, safe, and economically vibrant for workers, residents, and visitors. Board meetings are open to the public and cover district programs, budgets, and capital projects.
