Where: City Hall Annex, 900 Bagby Street, Houston, TX 77002.
What they do: The Houston Planning Commission reviews and approves plats (property subdivisions), variance requests, and special permits. The Board of Adjustment hears appeals for exceptions to city development ordinances. These bodies shape what gets built in your neighborhood.
