Topic: Virtual doctor visits through Legacy Community HealthSource: Legacy Community HealthWho Can Use It: New and existing patients physically located in TexasLanguages: English and SpanishHow to Check In: Through MyChart, up to 7 days before your appointment
Legacy Community Health lets you see a doctor without leaving home. If you are physically in Texas, you can book a virtual visit by smartphone, tablet, or computer — whether you are a new or returning patient. Care is available in English and Spanish.
Legacy's adult telemedicine service covers a wide range of conditions. For chronic care, you can address things like diabetes, hypertension, HIV, hepatitis, and chronic kidney disease. For everyday sickness, visits are available for colds, flu symptoms, urinary tract infections (UTIs), pink eye, rashes, headaches, and more. Behavioral health support — including mild anxiety and depression — is also available virtually. Some situations still need an in-person visit, such as when lab testing or a physical exam is required. Your clinician will let you know if that applies to you.
You have two ways to book. If you have a MyChart account, log in, tap the Appointments icon, confirm you are in Texas, pick your reason for visit, and choose a time. If you do not have MyChart yet, call (832) 548-5000 and staff will set up your appointment and send instructions by email. Either way, watch your inbox — and your spam folder — for a check-in email from 'Your MyChart Team' up to seven days before your visit. Completing the online eCheck-in is required before your appointment can proceed. On the day of your visit, join at least 10 minutes early using the Zoom link in your email. Find a quiet, well-lit spot with a solid internet connection, and do not join from a moving vehicle. Legacy recommends using the Edge or Chrome browser for the smoothest experience.

Online — available to anyone physically in Texas
If your virtual visit shows you need a lab test or a hands-on exam, Legacy will help you move to an in-person appointment at one of its clinics. Technical support during your visit is available by calling (713) 814-3400 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Life gets busy, and getting to a clinic is not always easy. Virtual visits let you get real care from the same Legacy doctors and clinicians you would see in person — no drive, no parking, no waiting room. It is a practical option for managing chronic conditions, handling everyday illnesses, or checking in on your health from wherever you are in Texas.
