Tom Bass Regional Park is one of Houston's most versatile green spaces. Spread across three sections near Fellows Road and Cullen Boulevard, it offers something for almost everyone — golf, fishing, a community center, pavilion rentals, and even a remote-control airfield.
You'll find a golf course, fishing spots, an NFL challenge course, a community center, a remote-control (R/C) airfield, and multiple pavilions you can reserve for gatherings. Each section has its own mix of amenities, so it's worth visiting more than one.
To make the most of a visit, decide which section fits your plans — golf and fishing, the challenge course, or the airfield. If you want to host a cookout or family event, reserve a pavilion in advance by calling 346-286-1805. Check the hours for your section before you head out, since winter hours are shorter for Sections 1 and 3. The park honors Thomas 'Tom' Hutcheson Bass, a teacher, college professor, U.S. Army Reserve officer, Texas State Representative, and Harris County Commissioner who served from 1973 to 1985.
