Good first step: Act Reserve a pavilion or plan a family visit to El Franco Lee Park
Call 346-286-1805 to book a pavilion, or just show up between 6 AM and 10 PM any day of the week!
El Franco Lee Park is a large Harris County park packed with something for everyone. Whether you want to shoot hoops, splash around on a hot Houston day, spot a butterfly, or walk a quiet nature trail, this park delivers. It is named in honor of El Franco Lee, who served as Harris County Precinct One Commissioner for 30 years.
The park includes sports fields, picnic areas, playgrounds, and a summer splash park for kids. Nature lovers will find a nature trail, a butterfly garden, and bird-watching spots. Covered pavilions are available for group gatherings. A community center on site offers additional facilities and programs.
Plan a morning visit to enjoy the nature trail before the midday heat. Bring the kids in the afternoon for the splash park. Pack a picnic — just remember to use designated grills for cooking, skip the glass containers, and keep all pets on a leash. If you want a pavilion for a birthday party or neighborhood get-together, call ahead to reserve one.
Open daily, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
