Free Wellness on Wheels Health Services This Saturday

HCPH is the local public health agency for the Harris County, Texas jurisdiction. It provides a wide variety of public health activities and services aimed at improving the health and well-being of the Harris County community. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Media line: 713-439-6911 September 26, 2026 Wellness on Wheels Brings Free Health Services and Resources to Houston Community This Saturday Harris County Public Health partners with community organizations to provide convenient health services and resources HOUSTON – Harris County Public Health (HCPH) will bring its Wellness on Wheels (WoW) mobile health services to the community this Saturday, September 26, 2026 , from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The R.O.C.K. WOI Church, 4101 Broadway St., Houston, TX 77087. The free community event will provide families and community members with access to health services, information and resources in a convenient community setting. Services and resources will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Community members can access a variety of free health services and resources, including: •Children’s vaccinations •Dental screenings •Breast and cervical cancer screenings •Fluoride application for children •Lead poisoning testing •Health education and resources •School and family resources •And so much more! HCPH staff will be on-site to provide health education, connect community members with public health programs and services, and help families learn about available resources. The event is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to arrive early, as some services and supplies may be limited.
