Grassroots mutual aid network where neighbors support each other through skill sharing and collective care.
West Street Recovery uses community organizing and recovery services as mutually reinforcing activities to build a network of people who can take care of each other and collectively advocate for a better community. This network provides direct support to families excluded from most assistance programs. When we show up together, our community becomes more connected, more resilient, and more powerful.
Repairs homes and builds community resilience in northeast Houston neighborhoods still recovering from Harvey and beyond.
