In Houston's extreme heat, working AC can be life-saving, and proper handrails prevent falls that send thousands of older adults to the hospital each year. Safe housing keeps families healthy, helps seniors age in place, and when our neighbors have safe homes, our whole community gets stronger with stable property values.
