Prevent Blindness Texas is a nonprofit voluntary health agency (established 1956) and affiliate of Prevent Blindness America. It preserves and protects sight for Texas's most vulnerable residents through vision screenings, eye-health and safety education, referrals, and financial assistance, with offices in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
The Adult Vision Screening Program offers vision screenings for adults to identify possible vision problems early. This service is provided by Prevent Blindness Texas, a United Way of Greater Houston partner organization focused on protecting and preserving sight.
