For seniors who struggle to prepare meals or get to the grocery store, this program ensures they get proper nutrition and daily human contact. The safety checks can be especially important for people living alone.
You need to be 60 or older, homebound, and unable to prepare meals on your own. Referrals go through the Area Agency on Aging, which handles the application process.
