Empowers young Latinos across Texas to use their voice and vote through leadership programs, voter registration, and civic education.

While based downtown, Jolt's work reaches Latino communities across Houston, including the East End, Gulfton, Spring Branch, and Southwest Houston where many Latino families live.

Nearly half of Houston's population is Latino, but the community has historically lower voting rates. When more neighbors vote, Houston gets stronger representation on issues like education funding, healthcare access, housing affordability, and immigration policy. Local elections for city council, school board, and county positions directly affect daily life in these neighborhoods.

You can attend their voter registration events, volunteer to help register others, or request voting information in Spanish or English. Jolt hosts registration drives throughout Houston neighborhoods and provides materials in both languages.
