Comprehensive refugee resettlement including housing, job training, cultural orientation, and DOJ-accredited legal services for citizenship.

The program operates in Houston, with offices in the 77002 area downtown.
More than helping people survive, this creates pathways for refugee families to truly rebuild their lives here. With 90% of clients becoming self-sufficient within a year, it strengthens Houston's workforce while helping newcomers from over 40 countries find belonging in their new home.
For over 60 years, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston has brought people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration, and service to the most vulnerable in our community. IM Houston operates Texas's largest Meals on Wheels program (delivering 1.5 million meals annually to 4,300+ homebound seniors), resettles refugees from 40+ countries, coordinates thousands of disaster and community volunteers through Volunteer Houston, and fosters interfaith understanding through dialogue programs, youth leadership, and cultural exchange.
The Resource Center maps the services, programs, and benefits across the city — and the people behind them.
