Houston in Action ensures neighborhoods aren't left out when big choices happen about our city.
Houston in Action is a coalition of community-based organizations, grassroots leaders, academic researchers, and philanthropic partners working to strengthen and grow community-led civic participation and organizing culture across the Houston region. HIA breaks down barriers to civic engagement by coordinating voter registration, advocacy training, and community organizing across its member organizations — building the collective power Houston residents need to shape the decisions that affect their lives.
