Community Christian Legal Aid is a faith-based nonprofit (clinic started 2018; 501(c)(3) incorporated 2019) that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families in Montgomery and Harris Counties, Texas. Supported by volunteer lawyers and legal professionals, it offers consultations and, where attorneys are available, limited representation in select civil matters.
Free assistance for individuals facing debt-collection lawsuits or unfair creditor practices; attorneys review notices and filings and may provide legal coaching and document review. CCLA does not represent clients in court for debt-defense matters.
