The Children's Assessment Center offers a caring, coordinated approach for children who have been sexually abused and their families. Working with Harris County, it provides therapy, forensic services, family advocacy, and community outreach. The Foundation raises support so these services stay available to every child who needs them.
Through Referral / Intake, every alleged child sexual abuse case in Harris County is referred to the Children's Assessment Center by the reporting agency. This free process requires referral by law enforcement investigators or DFPS caseworkers, not self-referral; the center is a United Way partner.
